What To Expect From Re-roofing Your Home
  • Plan For The Noise
There WILL be hammering during most phases of your re-roofing project. Plan your schedule accordingly.

  • Stay Clean
If your existing roof is to be removed: Have your belongings storred in the ATTIC and GARAGE area COVERED. Wood shingles and dust may fall into the attic and garage during the Tear-Off of the old roof.

  • If Your Existing Roof is to be Removed
In most cases the old roof will be hauled away the same day it is removed. During the installation of the new roof a small debris pile will be stored on the side of the driveway until new roof is completed.

  • Access The Roof
We will need to access the roof via the driveway in most cases. Please park vehicles out of the driveway and garage areas while work is in progress and for delivery of materials.

  • Removal of Items
Remove loosely hung items from the walls and bring in any items around the eves of the house that could be damaged by falling debris.

  • Other
We will need two seperate power outlets, usually one in the garage and one outside or two outside. (If ran on separate breaker lines.) We will also need access to the back and side yare areas. Please be sure to remove pets from all work areas. Please keep children away from work area. Please check gas utility ventilation stacks to ensure none have been dislodged during Re-roofing process. (The roofers can check this for you if you provide access to your attic area.)
